Please note: Attendance is mandatory for all students, whether they are participating in the catch-up day or the reward day. Ensuring your child’s presence is crucial for their academic progress and participation in school events.

We appreciate your support and encourage you to remind your child to complete any pending work before November 11th so they can make the most of this day.

AUDITIONS FOR THEATER PRODUCTION

Attention students and families! Auditions for ECA’s play “Graduation for Dummies” will be on Monday November 11th and Wednesday November 13th after school from 3:30-4:30, all students at ECA are welcome to audition. We look forward to seeing you there!

ATTENDANCE MATTERS

Going to school regularly in high school is very important for doing well in class and growing as a person. When students show up every day, they can better understand what is being taught, join in-class activities, and finish their work on time. Good attendance also helps students learn how to manage their time, be responsible, and stay organized—skills that are useful later in life. Plus, being in school regularly helps students make friends and build strong relationships with teachers, making school a more positive and supportive place to be. We highly encourage all of our families to schedule their vacations during the upcoming breaks in November and December.

If your child is sick or will not be at school because of an emergency, please call the front office to excuse their absence at 970-348-5800.  If your student has been excused from school ten or more times in a school year, every excused absense after that point will require a doctr's note or equivalent documentation.

Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance. Research shows that missing 10 percent of the school (16 total absences over the entire school year) will have a negative impact on a student’s academic performance!

Thanksgiving break

Thanksgiving Break will be from Monday November 25th through Friday November 29th.  ECA will be closed for the holiday, and District 6 offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Wishing you all a wonderful, restful break!
