I'm Ryan Allen and this is my 9th year teaching at Greeley West. This is my 12th year teaching math. I am teaching Geometry this year. I am originally from Michigan (I can show you where with my hand!) where I attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics and an M.A. in Education. I also spent 4 years in the Michigan Marching Band playing the clarinet. I still play my clarinet in the Northern Colorado Concert Band (NCCB).

I'm an avid traveler and have been to the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa. Before coming to Greeley, I had the opportunity to work and teach math for 3 years in the Dominican Republic. I may have picked up a Spanish word or two while living there. Ask me a question in Spanish and see!

I also enjoying reading; riding my bike; playing racquetball, tennis, and basketball; and watching Arsenal soccer, Michigan football, and Red Wings hockey. I am excited to be teaching math again here at West! Go Blue and Go Spartans!
