Within this lesson students will define the term "peer pressure" and differentiate between positive and negative peer pressure as demonstrated in the text "That's What Leprechauns Do" by Eve Bunting. 5th grade students will extend their learning by brainstorming strategies they could use for responding to negative peer pressure. Students will also complete a short writing piece using details from the text. This lesson has been differentiated based on grade level targets.
