9 C - our class camp blog

This Monday morning, were going to the train station at 9 o'clock. At 9:17 our train arrived to the direction of Konolfingen, and we had to change the train. After that, we went to the direction of Lucerne and to Locarno, about the panoramic route.  And afterward another 52 minutes by bus. Totaled, we drove 6h 13 minutes to the apartment. We, the group of boys, were going to shopping for dinner. After that, we've coocked Spaghetti Bolognese and we saw scorpions in our rooms. They were between 3-5 cm small. In the evening we played UNO, Skullking and many other games. At 23:00 we went to our rooms. I found this day very cool, and I was very tired. 

It's our second day in Cavergno. Today we're gonna make a hike to the Lago di Mognolad. We are preparing our lunch and are gonna leave our house in thirty minutes. The bus takes us up to Fusio, where our hike starts. At first, there is a forrest, where we go up some stairs for thirty minutes. After that, there is an easy trail till there is a bridge. After the bridge, it goes all the way up over rocks fields and through the wood.  After one hour, there is a big field with a farmer alp. From there you saw a waterfall. We walked a steep path up and saw the beautiful mountain lake. Up there, we ate our lunch and went swimming in the very cold water of the mountain lake. After like an hour, we packed our things and walked all the way down to Fusio. After two hours, we reached Fusio. Our knees were dead from the steep way. We waited one hour for the next bus, played football and did some other things to kill the time. After a long day, we came back to our camp house.

In the morning, we ate our breakfast, then, after packing our swim gear, we took the bus. In the bus, we drove to the railway station in Locarno. With the train, we went to a water park called Splash. The Splash is a great water park. There are many waterslides: some with rings, some without, and one with mats. One of my favorite waterslides was the one which is called «wash machine». It's one with rings. You can slide alone or in pairs.

But in the Splash are not only waterslides. There are also an outdoor-pool and a normal pool inside with a whirlpool. And there was a third pool. It was also a normal indoor pool, but from time to time it became a swimming pool with artificial waves. 

In the end we were all a bit tired, but it was a great and a funny day.

On Thursday, we woke up, and then one group needed to make breakfast. Unfortunately it was my group with Janis, Nevio and Fabian. After the breakfast we went on the bus and we drove in the direction of Locarno. Nearby Locarno, we went to a falcon park named Falconeria. We went there to watch a show with falcons, eagles, owls and storks. The show was amazing. The falcons and owls were flying over our heads. Sometimes we thought, they would fly directly into our head. At the end of the show, they also showed us a wolf and horses. After the show, we made a picture with an eagle owl. After that, we went to the lake in Locarno to eat lunch. After lunch, Mr. Lüthi allowed us to explore the center of Locarno in small groups.  Some went to clothing stores or also to buy something to eat or drink. At 17 o'clock, we met at the train station and drove back to Cavergno. When we arrived, we went to a pizzeria to eat dinner, to make a nice last night in Cavergno. After the pizzeria, we were allowed to keep our phones for the last night. Because of the phones, everybody was awake until like 1 o'clock. It was a really nice day.

In the morning we got up early and cleaned the house, our accommodation. Then we packed our bag and already the trip home started. With heavy baggage, we drove from Caverngo to Ponte Brolla. From there we took an old train to Domodossola. The old train was very slow, like a snail. But the route was very beautiful. Someone played a game like Jass, Skullking, Gemschen or played on the phone. In Domodossola we changed the trains to Brig. The train was so full, but luckily we reserved one of the compartments.  But first, a few people just sat down on the reserved seats we had posted. But in the end, everyone had their place. After a short time, we had to change the train again. We were not the only ones who were in the class camp week, you could see that in the last train. Comfortably and contentedly, we drove home. We had a very nice week!!
