In 2018, I had the opportunity of a lifetime. I worked on the concept of the Macy's Holiday Windows at Herald Square NYC. I proposed 2 concepts, both which were chosen. The Macy's team took my sketches and developed the scenes in Styrofoam. It was amazing to see the process and how it came to life.
My role: Art Director: created concept sketches and worked Macys team to approve window.

Window 1: HYGGE
Concept of "HYGGE" (Danish word used to acknowledge a special feeling of moment. It can be alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary but is always cozy, charming and special.
Scene is looking in through a window of a LEGO Minifigure family. The left-hand side is their doorway with wreath. In the front foreground is a dog popping out of a present that turns back and forth. Child behind looks on in excitement.
Window 2: WINTER WONDERLAND
Playful winter scene filled with activities from ice skating, skiing, sledding and ice fishing. The ice skaters move in a circle in the ice. In the foreground is a funny unicorn minifigure stuck inside a giant snowball. In the back is a holiday village. My initial sketch was a Yeti Winter Wonderland, which was changed to classic minifigures.
