Using Sora

HOW DO I LOG INTO SORA

1. Find the Sora App.

2. Find my school. 

3. My school isn’t listed (bottom)

4. Type in Great Neck Public Schools

5. Tap “This is my school” 

6. Sign in using your Great Neck School Email and password

7. Browse the Explore tab and borrow a book.  Your book will open so you can start reading right away. 

HOW DO ADD A LIBRARY

To expand your selection of book choices beyond what we have to offer, you can add the following libraries to your Sora account: L.I. Students Read & NY Reads

To add these library:

1. Click on the 3 lines at the upper right corner. 

2. Select Add library.

3. Use the search box to find and select L.I. Students Read or NY Reads. The library will open in the Explore tab and be saved so you can get back to it later.
