The Great Leaps staff will set your account up as an organization if necessary or requested. This set of features is exclusive to larger accounts set up in this manner and is not necessary for a single school.
Switching Organizations
Click on the initials on the top right-hand side of your screen to view the list of Organizations you are added to.
Everyone will have a "Personal Organization" with their own name by default.
Organizations are generally set up and named after a particular school.
Open the Organization from the drop-down, and select the appropriate organization to view and work with that set of students.
Invite Users
While on the "Manage Org" page, click "+ Invite User" and then enter the email or usernames of the instructors you would like to have access to the student in the organization. Separate each email or username with a comma or a space.
Groups are a subset within an organization. They will allow you to assign specific instructors and students to said group. For example, we could create groups for each grade level to separate instructors and students within a school or Organization.
Create a Group
While on the Manage Org page, click "Create Group" then name the group appropriately, for example, 3rd Grade Students.
Assign Instructors
Click "Edit Instructors" to add instructors from your organization to that group.
When adding instructors, you can assign them a role. INSTRUCTOR will only give the user access to complete exercises with the student, and view their data. MANAGER will allow the user to assign other users and students to a group and create new groups.
Assign Students
To add students to a group, select "Students" next to an instructor in your organization OR navigate to the "Manage Students" page, and select "Edit" then at the bottom you will be able to select the group to assign that student to.
