Executive Director | Great Expectations | Glenwood Springs, CO

The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief executive and strategic leader of Great Expectations. Reporting to the Board of Directors and leading a staff of 12 with a $1.4M annual budget, the ED is responsible for organizational vision, culture, financial strategy, and external relationships. This is a primarily in-person role with some hybrid ability based in Glenwood Springs, CO. The ideal candidate is a values-driven, relationship-centered leader who listens, builds trust, and strengthens systems that support clarity, accountability, and sustainable growth. The organization seeks a leader who can assess organizational structure, roles, and understand our current team’s capabilities while balancing respect for institutional knowledge with the need for clarity, accountability, and growth.
