Meet Your PrHS Counselor

I have been a school counselor for 17 years. I knew it was my calling when I began teaching Social Studies in the state of Colorado and spent more time counseling students than actual SS classwork. I attended SUNY Albany where I earned an undergraduate degree in Political Science and History. I received my Masters Degree in School Counseling from the University of No. Colorado. I grew up on Long Island where I learned quickly how to swim or sink. I Spent 9 years in the state of Colorado where I learned to love my environment. Met my husband in Boulder Colorado and once we chose to have a family we moved back to the east coast so our children can grow up with their grandparents. Currently I live in the city of Saratoga Springs where I learned to love "adulting" I have 2 children, 2 dogs, and an abundance of wildlife. In 2012, I started working at Proctor Jr./Sr. High School where I learned to love my career as a school counselor. I adore my students and look forward to growing up with them all :)
