RED RIBBON WEEK 2022

HEALTHY CHOICES SPIRIT WEEK

This is a National campaign which brings together millions of concerned Americans across our state and nation to focus awareness on the health risks of drug abuse and the terrible costs of illegal drugs on our society. This is an ideal way for people and communities to take a visible stand against drugs and to show their personal commitment to a drug-free lifestyle through the symbol of the Red Ribbon.

We will be celebrating Red Ribbon with a week’s worth of activities and the students will wear things that promote being drug-free and making healthy choices . Please don’t feel the need to go out and buy anything new for your child. Red ribbons will be distributed to all students and faculty to wear each day.

My name is Becky Eggleston. I have been a school counselor for 16 years at Poultney Elementary School. I love having students come up to me and giving me a hug as well as telling me that I helped them in some sort of way. A fun fact is I love pigs and want to have my own pet pig one day. I also have two children who are ages 18 and 14.
