A little bit about us...

Gabriela Burkey has three years of experience teaching at a Waldorf school, ten years of experience teaching preschool/daycare, and has been babysitting/nannying since age 12. She has a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Warren Wilson college where she also took many Education classes. She is a mother of two children and is fluent in Spanish.

Amy Burkey has seven years of experience teaching in Waldorf schools, eighteen years of experience homeschooling using a waldorf curriculum, and three years of experience running a WeCan Waldorf certified nursery in Massachusetts. She has focused her Waldorf Education at Sunbridge Institute on Early Childhood. Additionally, she is certified to teach yoga and spacial dynamics movement to young children. She is also fluent in Spanish. She is a mother of five children and grandmother of two.

Eduardo Tecun has one year of experience teaching art and one year of experience teaching Spanish at a Waldorf School. He is a dedicated father of two. He has a degree in Middle School Education from the university of San Carlos in Guatemala. He enjoys sharing his Mayan Culture with children. He speaks both Spanish and his native language of Quiche.
