Gravity Industries is redefining human flight. Our Jet Suits are used for everything from extreme sports to tactical military applications. As we scale, we need to ensure our documentation meets the highest standards required by end-users.

Primary Focus:

• Ensuring technical documentation meets military standards (e.g.., DefStan, MIL-STD)

• Aligning documentation with military end-user needs

• Collaborating with the Gravity technical team, test pilots, and external consultants working on documentation

Responsibilities:

• Review existing documentation, understand its structure, and become familiar with the Jet Suit system 

• Bring critical documents up to military specification (DefStan, MIL-STD, or other relevant standards)

• Forecast future documentation needs to support scalability and compliance

• Work closely with military customers / end-users to ensure documentation meets their operational requirements

• Manage version control and hold the final approved versions of all documentation

• Collaborate and coordinate with external documentation consultants 

• Share knowledge of military documentation standards and ensure internal processes align with them

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with MIL-STD-882, MIL-STD-810

• Experience developing FHA, FTA, FMEA, System Safety Case

• Relevant experience working on new equipment integration or maintenance, within military procurement or associated suppliers, contractors or Primes.

• Experience in producing maintenance, operational, or technical manuals for military or aerospace organisations.

• Understanding of military aviation, tactical systems, or high-performance engineering products.
