Practice Geometry!

The most important thing in order to learn Geometry is to practice, practice, practice!  Your practice problems in this class come in two halves: (1) exercises on the Daily Handouts, and (2) exercises from your textbook.   The daily handouts are done in class, while the textbook exercises are done outside of class (some classtime is given for working on them) See below for the exercises you need to complete, organized by section in the book.  Some sections may be skipped depending on time constraints. Specific section due dates will be posted in Gradescape.

NOTE: Unless you have negotiated a separate agreement with me, you should be completing the assignment listed on the left, not the core assignment (which is a modified, shortened assignment). You can earn extra credit (+1-2 per assignment, depending on difficulty) for doing the extra credit problems!!

Geometry Textbook required exercises

Geometric Constructions extra credit

For Fall Semester you can earn extra credit for doing various Geometric constructions in Geogebra or Euclidea. See here for the options!

The folder below contains all of the daily handouts for this class, in case you lose yours or are absent.  Hopefully the names of the files are self-descriptive and you can find the handout you are looking for - if not, send me an e-mail.  You are required to keep all of your completed daily handouts in an organized binder.  This is your main tool for keeping track of everything we've learned in this class.
