Athletics Registration Information
Requirements to compete in athletics at South Middle School
Current Physical on file with the office - you may bring that to the office or upload it when you register online with Arbiter. Please use the OSAA Physical Examination form.

Emergency/Medical Consent form completed - this is done while registering on Arbiter.
Participation Fee - There will be a fee of $50 for the 2023-2024 school year for each sport an athlete participates in. If an athlete participates in more than 2 sports, no fee is charged for the 3rd or 4th sport.
Good citizenship and passing grades (AD works with students to work towards this goal)

Arbiter / Family ID
We use Arbiter to register our students for athletics.
It will be helpful to have the following information handy for accurate completion of your online registration.

If you already have a FamilyID/Arbiter account:
Most of the information from previous registrations is saved in your profile. You will need to re-read and resign the Medical Consent form and Code of Conduct for each new sports season.
Registration Process for People new to Arbiter:
When you click on the Arbiter link, you will have the option to create a new account. To create a new account, do the following.
Click on Create Account.
Create your secure Arbiter account by entering the account owners first and last name (parent/guardian), e-mail address and the password you will use for Arbiter. Select Agree to the Arbiter Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don't see an email, check your junk or spam folders).
Click on the link in your activation email, which will log you in to Arbiter.com.
Choose the program you are registering for. Click Register Now button.
Once on the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a * are required to have an answer.
Click the Save & Continue button when you form is complete.
Review the registration summary.
If paying by cash/check bring your payment in to the office at South.
After selecting Submit the registration will be complete. You will receive a completion email from Family ID confirming your registration.
