South Middle School Theatre Club is a student-led club that performs up to two plays each year. Students audition for plays in the fall and spring and perform volunteer service hours within the Grants Pass and Southern Oregon theatre community. Members of the SMS theatre club who earn 50 volunteer service hours can be inducted into the Junior International Thespian Society in the spring. Students also have an opportunity to attend local theatre productions while they are in the rehearsal process.  Our partners include: Grants Pass High School Theatre, Barnstormers Theatre, and Southern Oregon University. Our club motto: “Act well your part; there all the honor lies.”
