In recent years, Grants Pass resident Heather White has become a familiar face, both online and off. She juggles multiple roles, such as being a podcast partner, bike shop co-owner, and posting on social media. She also finds fulfillment with real estate, which helps her guide others who might be moving to the area. But most importantly, she values her family and community members.
Heather is 37 years old. Her spouse, Sean Anderson, is the owner of BikeKraft, one of the two bike shops in town. He is also the father of their two little boys. Growing up in Grants Pass her whole life, Heather has always been a part of her community. She loves to take on projects and keep a busy, purposeful schedule that also aligns with her passions, which include: outdoor activities, biking, food, and promoting local businesses. One of the hobbies that she enjoys is social media, where she is able to express herself and bond with others. Social media helps her with various undertakings.

Furthermore, BikeKraft hosts weekly group rides and, every second Saturday of the month, they have family-friendly joy rides around trails in Grants Pass and even around town. Heather not only enjoys fostering a sense of community around biking, but she also believes that it gets people off of their phones and enjoying the beauty of life and their surroundings. It allows them to connect with others and participate in the community. Heather likes to connect online situations to the real world, making them "happen in real life.” And, as a realtor, Heather has been able to combine her deep roots in Grants Pass with helping others. She does not just offer insight into housing opportunities, but also into lifestyles and the community itself. She helps others find a place to call home. Her social media presence often overlaps with both of these positions, building awareness and marketing for them.
On her online platforms, she is known as “Heather Gone Wildly” or “Heather go Realtor,” where she highlights local food places, explores tourist areas, and showcases housing opportunities. For Heather, perfection isn’t always everything; it is more about being authentic and focusing on self-growth. For instance, she believes it is important to be honest in her review, as it brings legitimacy to the world. Her personal definition of success on social media is building a community, rather than measuring accomplishments by numbers. She claims that her “goal is to create a robust community of people that engage, people that actually get value out of my posts, or inspiration to go do stuff.”

Moreover, Heather is a co-host with her childhood friend, Emily, on their “Go Wildly Podcast”. The two met in elementary school, where they became best friends, up until the middle of high school, when they lost touch with one another. 20 years later, they reunited when Emily texted Heather about doing a project together. They then met for breakfast, chatting about all the potential project ideas they could do. At first, it was not about a podcast, but that is what it ended up morphing into over time. Both Emily and Heather have a deep love for nature, so they ended up focusing on the outdoor life of Southern Oregon, spreading the love. On almost every episode of their podcast, they invited someone to join them (typically people who either live or work outdoors). The podcast is two seasons long so far and is as real as it can get. There are hardly any cuts in the videos-- just a structured guideline with no scripts, always ending with rapid-fire questions.
Heather believes her posts are successful if they are able to touch somebody's heart and inspire them. Despite all of the positive outcomes of social media, Heather also faces a few challenges sometimes-- namely, time consumption that includes editing videos, balancing authenticity with financial constraints, and receiving hateful comments on her posts. Regardless of the negativity, she handles them optimistically. She responds with kindness most of the time, but if the comment is inappropriate or harmful, she simply deletes it or brings some spice back to the commenter.
Heather emphasizes the importance of prioritizing tasks within a busy and diverse schedule, highlighting the need for flexibility and adaptability. She personally likes using a planner and jotting down any tasks that need to be completed. This method helps her out a lot, specifically with her time management. Heather believes in striving for improvement every day, as her “motto is to get 1% better every day.” She encourages others to push themselves forward in life, learning from their mistakes. She thinks that people should stay authentic and true to themselves, but also be willing to pivot away when something is not helping and is instead damaging. She also believes in setting aside time to reflect on growth and accomplishments, as it can be hard to take a moment to stop in life and view the positive sides of the situations we overcome in life. Heather envisions that her future will be centered around abundance within her community, friendships, and spending time with loved ones.

Ultimately, Heather White’s capability to balance her entrepreneurship, creativity, and family life is what sets her apart from others. Whether she is supporting small businesses or connecting to her audience online, she is always setting aside the influence of genuine kindness and legitimacy, giving back and inspiring others around her in a positive way. In Heather’s world, anything can be done with a purposeful motive and hard work.
