Parents of gifted/talented students are encouraged to join the Kentucky Association for Gifted Education (KAGE). KAGE is affiliated with the National Association of Gifted Children (NAGC), and is housed at Western Kentucky University in the Center for Gifted Studies. KAGE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives no government funding. It is supported solely by membership dues, its annual conference, sale of publications, and donations.
