There will be an assignment each month. Each assignment will be due by the last school day of the month. The assignment may be turned early if it is ready.

We willbe practicing many different writing skills at school this year. Students should use the skills learned at school when writing at home. Parents may help give ideas about what to write. Parents may proofread work, but students should proofread it first!

The length of each assignment is variable. If writing is tricky, each chapter may be only a short paragraph. If writing is enjoyed, chapters could be much longer.
