Autobiography Homework:

Our class will be writing an autobiography for homework this year.

There will be an assignment each month. Each assignment will be due by the last school day of the month. The assignment may be turned early if it is ready.

We willbe practicing many different writing skills at school this year. Students should use the skills learned at school when writing at home. Parents may help give ideas about what to write. Parents may proofread work, but students should proofread it first!

The length of each assignment is variable. If writing is tricky, each chapter may be only a short paragraph. If writing is enjoyed, chapters could be much longer.

Assignments must be hand written by students in their own words. Each page should be 8 1/2" wide and 11" in length.

A homework assignment sheet will be sent home at the beginning of each month with questions to help stir imagination and help students think of things to write. Students may write about anything that relates to the chapter topic.
