Steps to add your fall courses

Follow each step carefully

Add a calendar event

  • To add an attachment: First, add the calendar event, then click "more options," you will be taken to the rich content editor - it works just the same as on other pages. Then, add the attachment or information you'd like parents to have. Submit

  • To add an assignment to the calendar, click assignment tab, add a title - due date- and which calendar. Publish and submit.

  • To add an appointment for a group, click appointment group- create a name- location, date and time. Submit

  • To add a PDF-

Click the plus, more option, click insert, click documents- find the pdf, publish

Create an Announcement

  • click manage subjects

  • click announcements

  • click the plus button

  • add a title

  • type in the announcement

  • can add an attachment

  • there is also an extra option button where extra options are available for announcements.

  • click save

Parent login portal help

  • parents will create an account with student name, birth date, and 9 number

  • a link will be sent to their email

  • parent will be sent back to relog in with the new created account

Adding a Module Key....

green circle- add a new module

red circle- module

yellow circle- module content

blue circle- module publication status (published if green checkmark)

orange circle- add content to module

pink circle- module setting

magenta circle- module status

Adding your new module as a link to a button on your Home Page


Now that you have created a module, you might be ready to link it to your home page.

  1. open your home page

  2. select the button you want to link to

  3. select "remove link" if its an option

  4. select the button again and choose link icon drop down box

  5. select "course links"

  6. select "pages"

  7. select the page you want to link

How do I create an assignment for students to submit an audio or video recording?

Student can use the integrated recording tool to record video or audio as an assignment submission. When creating the assignment select the following:

Submission Type: Online Submission

Online Entry Options: Media Recordings
