Calling all Readers (grades 3-5) to The Battle of the Books
Participating students will read books from the provided list and will have the opportunity to participate in a trivia challenge at the end of the year.
If you purchase one of the books on the list, please consider donating it to your child’s teacher when you are finished with it.
The Battle of the Books is designed to:
-Get kids reading -Create a love of books -Introduce kids to excellent literature -Push kids to try different literature
-Create a community of learners -Analyze and write about books -Develop friendship between students
-Provide opportunities for team competition
