The Cyprus Boys Basketball program decided to head down to St.George on Nov. 29,

2023 to play a tournament against other schools in Utah, in and out of our region. Their Varsity

team has already played a game against Springville Nov. 22, 2023 at Pleasant Grove, losing 58-57.

Before they left I wanted to ask the head coach, Coach Tre, some questions. My first

question “I wanted to know how he thought they were going to do this weekend.” He told me “I

have a really good feeling about this weekend and I am confident in my boys. We are playing some tough teams but I believe we can pull through and win.”

My next question was “What do you think your team will bring to the tournament?” He

replied with “I think that when people see us they all want to try and beat us. My team will look

past how good another team is and they are going to play their hardest to win no matter what. We will bring a state of aggressiveness, hustle, and hard work.”

My last question for Coach Tre was “ Are you excited for this weekend?” Coach Tre

said “Yes! I am very excited to see the improvement from these boys, I can’t wait to see how

they do and I am very happy I get to go down there and coach them. I get to see all of the hard

work and dedication they have been putting into practice which gets me pumped!”
