There are many different scholarships that students can apply for and get some help with college.

Scholarships are great for students and can help them with college so much but giving out free money and like Gabby Dobson said “It's money, if you get money for school, the more money you get the better”. There are so many different scholarships that everyone can apply to and no matter what there are some out there for you, if you look and do your research you definitely can find one that fits you.

There are many places you can look for scholarships like Dobson said “Keys to success or the counseling center, college access adviser, gear up ”. A lot of teachers and faculty at the school are willing to help you with scholarships, help you with finding ones that are perfect for you, and even help you fill them out and you can fill them out whenever most of the time Dobson also says “it varies depending on the different scholarship either beginning or end of the month”.

A lot of faculty push so much to fill out scholarships because it is a lot of help you can get because it is expensive and teachers understand that and know how expensive it is so they want to help you so you can save your own money, Dobson also goes on to say “I love scholarships they are amazing and wish I would have focused on them more when she was in high school and their a lot more out there then students realized, they are a great tool to pay for school but should be easier accessible.” 

There are other different ways students can get money for school. Dobson said “The biggest one is going to be FAFSA, it is huge. It is a form you fill out with the government to get free money, if you qualify they give you a Pell Grant which is free money you never have to pay back.”
