Cyprus students and survey stated they don’t trick or treat anymore in high school or in neighborhoods, on Oct. 31, 2025.
Most high school students are hanging out with their friends, handing out candy or have fun activities planned for the day. Trick or treat needs more excitement and everyone is included with the holiday, not just a group of people. By finding new ways to simply get in the spirit with going out and getting candy plus dress up for Halloween.
Cyprus student Ailia Olsen stated “for free candy without paying for candy at the store, and Find fun areas to trick or treat.” Olsen stated“with siblings, or having fun over all, and finding events to hang out with friends.”
Olsen stated “I have younger siblings to go with and I also love costume up and getting free candy.”
Olsen stated “my older sister, Kira, made it a happy experience that I would do the same with my younger siblings.”
According to the data of the survey.12th graders are the most that don’t trick or treat 11th graders right behind them. But most people with 9.9% stop trick or treating at ninth grade. Most people out of 27% of people haven’t stopped trick or treating.
According to the data of the survey. The best time to go trick or treating is 6-12pm. According to one survey responder “You should stay out until you see porch lights going off or when it starts getting more cold.”
The best trick or treat location is rich houses, Kaysville, West valley,trunk or treat at churches, or Tooele. According to the data of the survey the best experience at trick or treating is having friends, family, grandparents. According to one survey responder “people who decorate or dress up and scare people. It makes everything better.”
