Cyprus High School is having a library prize drawing as well as an important date to return books all on the same day.    

Novels you’ve checked out for your classes are not considered regular library books that will be due on May 21, 2024. 

All regular library books must be returned by Friday, May 10, 2024.    

This same date will also be the last day to turn in your bookmarks for the prize drawing.  

Write a brief review of how and what you liked about a book you read this school year on the back of a bookmark. 

This must be turned in to the prize drawing box for you to qualify to receive a brand new Kindle Fire HD tablet.  

Only one lucky participant will receive the brand new Kindle Fire HD tablet.  

Cyprus student Alisa Sebastian Cano said “I think it's important for there to be a due date for the last day to return library books since it gives students a sense of urgency to turn them in on time and it's also just a good reminder for students to not forget.” 

Another student from Cyprus High School Hillary Santizo said “ the library prize drawing is a good way to get students' opinions on books they have read and if they do so they may just win a prize. It's a nice idea and I think students should do it.”
