Weezer is headlining the 3rd day of the Kilby Block Party.

The Kilby Block Party is an all ages indie-music festival in Salt Lake City that happens every year, and it's been ongoing for 6 years since 2019 and coming May 15-18 this year. It started as a one day event and now is a multi-day festival, which a lot of people attend. This year they are adding a half fourth day instead of the regular 3 days. 

Weezer, a well known band, will be headlining and Sadie Curtis is very excited to see them, “I love Weezer’s music, so when I go I'll be so excited to see them,” Curtis said. She had also stated that when she saw Weezer was headlining, she immediately bought her ticket. 

Many other bands, some popular and some not as known will be playing, such as Bôa, Wallows, Suki Waterhouse, Vacations, Slowdive, and etc. 

Jazmyn Mijares stated that she wished she could go, if she were in attendance she would've loved to hear Bôa and the Wallows, claiming them to be one of her few favorite bands. “I like the song Duvet by Bôa, so if I could have gone I would've liked to hear that song,” Mijares said. When asked what she thought about Weezer headlining, Mijares said that she liked some of their songs and also wished she would be able to see them play.

Kilby Block Party has many fan favorites coming to play in Salt Lake City, some excited and some wishing they could attend and see them in person.
