- Textbooks are assigned by your class schedule.
- You are responsible for all textbooks checkout to you.
- The library has a record of the barcode of each text.
- You must return the text with the barcode assigned to you in order for it to count as returned.
- The library system is the official record of texts that are assigned to the student.
- Any damage or writing in the books must be reported within one week of checkout. If the damage is not noted in the library computer system you will be charged for it.
- Barcodes must remain on the book. If the barcode is removed you will be charged for the entire book.
- If the barcode is damaged but we can still identify the assigned number you will be charged for a new barcode.
- If you lose a book you will be charged the replacement cost.
- Only one copy of each text will be checked out per student.
- Late fines will be charged for textbooks that are not returned on time.
-If a lost book is found a check will be issued for the amount paid for the replacement price of the book up until the end of the fiscal year it is lost in. Late fines will not be returned.
-A late fine of $5 per patron will be charged each semester if there are any textbooks not returned by the date advertised.
-Students may check out up to 3 books at a time.
-Books checkout for 15 school days.
-Books that are overdue are charged 25 cents per item per day up to $5.00 per checked out item.
-Lost books will be charged to the student's account at a rate of the replacement cost plus $1.00 for processing, plus the overdue fine if applicable.
-If you have late fines or lost book fines over $2.00 you will need to pay those before checking out more library books. Classroom novels and texts may still be checked out.
-All fines must be paid through the main office.
