First grade students will use the Houghton-Mifflin literacy program as a learning guide during the school year. This program is also referred to as "Into Reading".
In addition to assignments supported by the "Into Reading" literacy program, students will complete units on Lexia and read daily. Students can gain access to ebooks using SORA through the Granite School District portal. Books read on SORA can count toward the 20 minutes of required daily reading.
