Introduction

Welcome to 4th Grade! I am excited to be in 4th grade and at Elk Run this year and look forward to getting to know everyone. 

I want to take a moment and tell you a little about myself. I have been teaching for a while now, this will be my 29th year in the classroom, and I can honestly say it doesn't feel like it. I have had the opportunity to teach all grades from 3rd-8th. I received my bachelor's in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Math from Utah State University. I have a Masters in Educational Technology from Grand Canyon University and a Masters in English Language Learning from Western Governors University.  I enjoy reading, cross-stitching, putting puzzles together, and spending time with my family in my free time. One of our favorite things to do is to visit national and state parks, this summer we went to Mount Rainier in Washington and Craters of the Moon in Idaho, but one of our favorites has been Mount St. Helens.
