Inviting Students and Rosters

Students need to be registered through the Team Management System before the Granite School District Qualifier. If they are not registered, they may not attend.

You will not be able to invite students to join a team on the TMS until you have the following completed:

• Each team must have 2 coaches (if you only have one team coach, please invite Margaret, mwyau@graniteschools.org to serve as your second coach)

• Each coach needs to complete their Youth Protection Plan

• Each coach needs to sign the consent & release form

Express Enrollment Instructions

Coaches and mentors who have completed the First Youth Protection Screenings can use these instructions

Summary: 

• Coaches/mentors will generate web links and QR codes on their Team Management dashboard to share with parents and guardians. 

• Parents and guardians will use the link or QR code to register their student to their team. Parents will be notified via email if their registration process is complete. 

Not-Express Registration Process

The Lego website shares out the old process of registering students to the team management site. On the linked site, go to "Parents/Guardians (Global)"

Summary:

1. Parents will create an account on www.firstinspires.org 

2. They will add their student's profile information, complete a consent & release form, and attach their student to your team number.

Note: there are options for parents to complete this process on a computer or a mobile device.

Parents Without Internet Access

Please try your best to have parents complete the process online, either on a computer or a mobile device.
