Personal Artist Statement

My art is guided by my personal truths; I create dance driven by life and living. The intention behind my work is real, genuine, and intimate. I see dance as a way to explore what it means to be mortal. Dance allows me to live in the moment. I treasure the process of choreographing, and I value collaboration. My choreography articulates organic communication through the indulgence of simplicity. I am committed to play and find experimentation fascinating. I am interested in stripping away conventions, ego, and normality in dance. I shy away from stereotypical perceptions.
