Hierarchy of Prompts/Assistance
We use prompts everyday to help students complete task, work on IEP goals and be successful in their everyday lives. We encourage you to use these prompts as well, with your students/children so that we can be consistent together to help our students keep learning.
PROMPTS:
Independent = I
Verbal = V
Model = M
Partial Physical = PP
Full Physical = FP
Note: Always be gentle when prompting physically, it is not to be harsh physical assistance.
