Question and Answer

Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as an SBO next year if you are elected?

One key goal would be to boost school spirit at school events such as sports, assemblies, and school dances and I'd make sure every student feels included in said activities
One idea I would focus on is organizing the event calendar better so that events don’t overlap and students have enough time to prepare for everything in terms of dances and so we can also have enough time to get everything ready to meet the deadline

Question #2: What does it mean to you to be a Colt?

To be a Colt is about more than just being part of a school; it’s about serving our community with respect, resilience, and heart. For me, being a Colt means taking pride in who we are and supporting each other through every win and loss. It’s about showing up for one another, realizing that our strength comes from how we look out for and help each other. The word "Colt" isn’t just a name we use to call ourselves it’s a symbol of unity, of family, and of the pride we carry in being part of cottonwood. That's why, I take great pride in being called a CWOOD COLTS.

Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?

I would have the students take a survey to determined what activity would be a best fit doing so would ensure that the student have a space to voice their thoughts about what they'd like the activity to look like therefore creating more of a fun and personalized activity that each students would enjoy

Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?

A personal advice that keep me going throughout the year is,stay focused on your "why" the reason you’re here in the first place because I'm already showing up everyday so why not put in the effort to secure myself a good future no one is gonna be held accountable for the actions I'm taking towards my future except for myself
