Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as an SBO next year if you are elected?

1. Make dances bigger and better

2. Make sure everyone feels welcome at the dances

Question #2: What does it mean to you to be a Colt?

To me, being a Colt means representing our school with pride, energy, and inclusivity. It’s about bringing people together, lifting each other up, and making every event an unforgettable experience. As a dance officer, I’d strive to create a fun and welcoming environment where everyone feels excited to be part of our school’s traditions.

Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?

I would work to make school dances more inviting for everyone by creating a welcoming atmosphere and more diverse music choices. By promoting a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment, I want every student at Cottonwood to feel excited to attend dances and know they are a valued part of our school community 

Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?

Staying motivated with attendance and academics is all about finding balance. Setting small goals, staying involved in school events, and surrounding yourself with positive friends can make a huge difference. It also helps to create a routine, stay organized, and remind yourself why you’re working hard. Don’t be afraid to ask for help and take breaks when needed .
