Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as an SBO next year if you are elected?

If I am elected next year, i want to help people at cottonwood feel a sense of belonging, and to help people feel heard. I want to make sure people know that I'm there to help them and to let them know that they have a place in their community and to help them find their place in cottonwood.

Question #2: What does it mean to you to be a Colt?

I think a colt is someone who is an active part of their community and someone who finds the value of those that surround them. Someone who supports their community and someone who excepts all those around them no matter what.

Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?

Developing activities with all the different communities in mind helps to include everyone in cottonwood. Activities are supposed to include all different groups, by altering things to make things more open for everyone you get better activities everyone enjoys.

Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?

My advice is marking it in a calendar it helps for you to remember everything you need to do, another great way is for you to work with your friend to keep each other accountable by checking in and making sure they are completing their work, and they'll make sure you're doing yours.

Question #5: What are some qualities that make a great leader?

I think a great leader isn't always about how loud someone is, I think a great leader is someone who listens. Listening shows you have an open mind and want to hear from them. As well as clear communication it's how you solve problems without making things more difficult. 

Question #6: What is a leadership quality you have and how will it help you be a good SBO at Cottonwood?

I'm very social, I love talking to others and getting to know them. Talking to a lot of people helps me to help those around me by being aware of what they are going through and who they are allows me to make sure they feel heard and seen.
