I want to run for SBO Stampede because I love being involved. I want to make cottonwood a better place not just in school but at all extra curricular events as well. I hope to create a fun and positive environment for all. I am a strong leader, I have experience from previous years in student government, I love including others, and I am involved in multiple sports, fitting the stampede aspect! I will make Cottonwood a better place by being kind, respecting others, and making it a safe space for all, and of course bringing the fun!

Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as an SBO next year if you are elected?

I want to make sure every student has a sense of belonging, and make our school pride contagious!!

It means I am respectful, kind and engaging.

Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?

By engaging with my peers and getting feedback in what they want for our school.

Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?

Make a goal that you can reach within a certain time period. create a routine that will best fit that goal.

Kind, cares about others, driven, engaged, and community oriented.

I believe a leadership quality that have is being able to take a strong incentive and put words into action.

Task

Tailgate idea: its a warm September Friday night. The theme is colt pride! At the tailgate we provide popsicles as a treat, because who doesn’t love popsicles. Then we have face paint for anyone who is feeling festive, it allows people to show their spirit. As well as yellow pompoms to use when cheering. Inside the football game we hand out pizza around halftime, just in case anyone is hungry.
