Welcome to Olympus High School's Fall 2026 Musical auditions for Disney's Frozen!
Before you audition, please note that auditions are broken into THREE parts. Here is some crucial information you must know:
Who: YOUNG ANNA & YOUNG ELSA AUDITIONS ONLY (Open to high school, middle school, and elementary aged in the Olympus boundaries)
Date: Tuesday, August 11
Time: 2:00-4:00pm
Location: Choir Room
What to Prepare:
Please come prepared to sing one of preselected music cutting of "A Little Bit of You" found in the audition music folder below
Please know the dialogue and music. Looking for fun characters that play off each other.
Who: ONLY IF YOU WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A PRINCIPLE OR FEATURED ROLE
Date: Thursday, August 13
Time: 2:30-5:00pm
Location: Choir Room
What to Prepare:
Please come prepared to sing one of the preselected music cuttings based on what character you are most interested in trying out for. Music cuttings can be found below.
Select students will be asked to come in on Friday, August 14 for a music / scene callback. This list will be posted Thursday night or Friday morning. The songs used in callbacks are the same as the audition songs.
Who: EVERYONE
Date: Saturday, August 15
Time: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Location: Auditorium / Choir Room

Select people will be reading sides.
Principle Roles:
ELSA – (Female, Soprano, Range: E3 to Eb5) Future Queen of Arendelle and Anna’s older sister; born with magical powers, isolates herself from others out of fear.
ANNA – (Female, Soprano, Range: G3 to E5) Princess of Arendelle and Elsa’s younger sister; an eternal optimist who longs to be loved and to connect with other people.
KRISTOFF – (Male, Tenor, Range: A2 to Bb4) Hardworking ice harvester with a prickly exterior that hides a big heart.
HANS – (Male, Tenor, Range: A2 to A4) Prince of the Southern Isles and youngest of thirteen brothers; charming and ambitious.
OLAF – (Gender Neutral, Tenor Key: B2 to Bb4 / Alto Key: E3 to Eb5) Magical snowman with a childlike innocence.
Featured Roles:
SVEN - (Gender Neutral, No Singing) Kristoff’s fiercely loyal reindeer best friend.
OAKEN – (Male, Tenor, Range: A2 to Bb4) Amiable salesperson and relentless advocate of hygge; cheerful and jolly.
WESELTON - (Male, Baritone, Range: F3 to A4) Duke from a neighboring kingdom; chauvinistic, impolite, and judgmental.
QUEEN IDUNA - (Female, Mezzo-Soprano, Range: F3 to E5) Queen of Arendelle and child of the Northhuldra; strong and compassionate mother.
KING AGNARR - (Male, Baritone, Range: B2 to C4) King of Arendelle; warm-hearted and protective father.
PABBIE - (Male, Bass, Range: Ab4 to Gb4) Mystical shaman and patriarch of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s wise adoptive father.
BULDA - (Female, Mezzo-Soprano, Range: Bb3 to D5) Spiritual matriarch of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s nurturing and vibrant adoptive mother.
These roles will first be offered to high school students but may be auditioned outside of the high school after initial auditions.
YOUNG ELSA - (Female, Soprano, Range: A3 to E5) Elder princess of Arendelle with magical powers; obedient daughter; protective sister.
YOUNG ANNA - (Female, Soprano, Range: Bb3 to E5) Younger princess of Arendelle with youthful exuberance; fun-loving troublemaker; mesmerized by her sister’s magic.
Ensemble role:
Includes the following roles: Townspeople, Staff, Guards, Hidden Folk, Oaken's Family and Friends, Volunteers, Bishop, Handmaiden, Lackeys, Hidden Folk Child
Callbacks will be by invitation only sent out shortly after auditions and will be held on Friday, August 14 right after school. This show will be single casted with understudies. Just because you didn't get a callback, doesn't mean you are not in the show or considered for a lead.
The rehearsal process will begin Monday, August 18. All rehearsals will be from 2:30 - 5:00 pm. When we get closer to November, rehearsals will start going until 6:00, sometimes 9:00 pm. A rehearsal calendar will be available on the first day of rehearsals with specific times and dates. Rehearsals will be a little different this year as you won't know what we are working on until the week before. The call list will be posted every Friday night but we will do our best to keep it consistent around reoccurring call times. Students are olnly allowed THREE scheduled conflcit dates. Failure to attend rehearsals beyond the 3 excused absences listed in your conflicts will result in being recasted or let go from the show.
Mandatory Tech Dates: November 3 - 16 from 2:30-9:00 pm
Performance Dates: Our performances will be November 18-21 @ 7:00 pm with a matinee on Saturday, November 21 at 2:00 pm. The call time for these matinees with be 12:30pm and call times for evening performances will be at 5:30 pm.
TECH AND PERFORMANCE DATES ARE MANDATORY! ANY MAJOR CONFLICTS DURING THIS TIME WILL RESULT IN NOT BEING CASTED!
