Upcoming Events in the Counseling Center
March 16, 2026
We have officially entered the final quarter of the school year. It is critical that all students attend every class and stay on top of their coursework, as attendance plays a major role in academic success.
Students currently enrolled in credit recovery or online classes must complete all required coursework and report completion to their counselor as soon as possible.
Seniors (Class of 2026):
Please be aware that if you fail any course required for graduation during 4th quarter, you will not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Stay focused and finish strong!
SLCC Days is a two-day orientation program that supports high school seniors in preparing for their first semester of college at Salt Lake Community College.
On the First Day, SLCC Staff will be travelling to the high school to support students through the Admissions and Orientation Process and learning basic information about SLCC Academic Programs. We will also be covering student success programs such as Summer Bridge that provide support to students in the transition from high school to college.
During Day Two, students get to visit the SLCC Taylorsville-Redwood Campus, where they meet with academic advisors, career coaches, and other SLCC resources. Additionally, students will get early access to register for fall semester classes. Lunch is provided, and students are welcomed to SLCC with prizes and swag items. See Colin Foster in the Counseling Center to sign up.
