My reasoning for running for office is to empower our students and lead them to know that they too have a voice in our Cottonwood community. As a Latina student I hope to reach out to many more students then ever before and various clubs. Acknowledging their presence with the goal that they too can be a leader no matter their skills or how timid they may be. With my previous experience in student government, I believe I have the determination and mentality to hold this position as a Sophomore. Finally, I plan to represent CHS to the fullest of my ability by emphasizing our amazing students, showcasing academic excellence, and highlighting the schools commitment towards the community.

As a class officer, my primary goal would be to foster a sense of inclusivity and belonging among all students in our grade. Here are some strategies I would implement. Regular Communication, this means I would ensure open lines of communication by hosting regular meetings or creating online platforms where students can voice their concerns, ideas, and suggestions. Another thought is Inclusive Events and Activities, therefor I would work to organize events and activities that cater to a wide range of interests and preferences. Whether it's cultural celebrations, sports tournaments, academic competitions, or artistic showcases, there should be something for everyone to participate in and enjoy.
