I want to make a difference in our school, and being a class officer would help me to advocate for student needs. I want to build connections with people I don't know and strengthen connections with the people I know. I hope to be able to encourage community engagement at all Cottonwood events, and promote a positive school spirit at the sports and performances.
I have plenty of experience in a leadership role, as I have been on the Music Committee for 2 years and that has helped me with planning events and being a good example/leader for students in the classes. Obviously I am not perfect, but I have been trying hard to show up to everything and putting in the work to improve where I struggle.
I want to positively represent Cottonwood by participating actively in all of the events, bringing a positive attitude, and showing school spirit, (it helps that half of my shirts are Cottonwood ones that I have collected over the years).

Question and Answer
Cottonwood has a rich culture, specifically, we have many different races, religions, and backgrounds all coming together in one school. Because we have Ames right inside the building cottonwood students have the opportunity to meet so many people in a way that isn't possible anywhere else. We have incredible sports teams and a large student section that travels to cheer them on. Our fine arts such as Music Dance and Theatre are all getting amazing accolades in their events, and overall this culminates in a better experience than that of the other high schools in Utah.
Inclusivity is very important to me, when people are left out they often feel alone and that isn't what school is about. When people feel included the overall atmosphere is better, so I want to make sure that everyone has a friend to sit by at lunch so me and a few friends like Terrence Kalimasi will start a club next year after I win. IN THIS CLUB we will sit by people who are eating alone at lunch and get to know them, I hope to get many other SBOs and students who aren't busy to sign up later on.
