I want to be a historian because, I want to make sure that the moments we have this year don't pass by and become forgotten. High school goes by fast and I want to make sure we capture the moments,events,and everyday memories so we can actually look back at them. As a historian I want this year to be unforgettable and unique.I believe that I am qualified to be a historian because I am creative and pay attention to the details. I am going to represent CHS in a positive and innovative way by capturing the beautiful moments, highlighting a wide range of events so everyone can feel like they are part of the community.
Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as a Class Officer next year if you are elected?
if I was elected as a historian I would start a spotlight interview to highlight different moments of students ,teachers and stuff.and the second thing I would do is to highlight different clubs and cultures at cottonwood to make students feel more welcome.
Question #2: What does it mean to you to be a Colt?
being a coIt means that I am part of the great community and we are supporting each other, building connections with each other, and creating fun and exciting memories.
Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?
one way I could do is to create activities that highlight different cultures and interests,so students can feel included in the community.
Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?
my advice is to take things step by step and don't give up half way through, and school work makes everything easy, also I always tell myself that I got this and don’t give up staying positive .
Question #5: What are some qualities that make a great leader?
I think a great leader is someone being respectful, kind, positive, taking other opinions,and put them self into other people's positions.
Question #6: What is a leadership quality you have and how will it help you be a good Class Officer at Cottonwood?
I think that I stay positive no matter what it requires, and I take peoples opinions very seriously. I am very social I love meeting new people, I am also a very good listenter. this will help me to be a great class officer by taking people's opinion on things that they think it need to be fixt, and by being a good listener I am gonna make sure that every student voice is included in how we represent our school's memories.
Question #7: What specific qualifications do you have for your intended position?
I'm organized and creative, and I love capturing beautiful moments in school and outside of school,this makes me a good fit for historians because I can help create memories that our student will actually enjoy looking back on .
I enjoy taking pictures of friendships,sports,art,and nature. I also like to take little thing that people might not notice. This will help me as a historian because I can create memories that actually feel fun and real,and thing that people might not notice. and by creating a meaningful memory that student can look back at. I can also make photos that everyone relates to and enjoys seeing.
