Hello, my name is Zeland Carpenter and I want to represent Cotton Wood as the SBO historian. As many of you know and for those who don't know, I love taking photos and always have a camera on me I also love to show up to any Cotton Wood events to support the activities and peers involved and to spend time with my friends. i am running for office because I can do a fantastic job at bringing a creative eye to the history of the school, because anyone can make history, it all just depends on how well you can be remembered.

Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as an SBO next year if you are elected?

I will work on everyone being included as a part of next year's media (the historian insta account, end of year assembly, etc.)

Question #2: What does it mean to you to be a Colt?

Being a colt means being a part of the school community and participating in making the school a place you would want to be. Anyone can be a student at Cwood, but it takes heart to be a colt.

Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?

At assemblies and sports events and other such things, I will make sure that anyone who wants a photo will get one, it wont just be the same people getting photos everytime.

Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?

just stay focused and realize you have an impact here. positivity spreads and if one person does better every day maybe another will do better tomorrow.
