Question and Answer

Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as a Class Officer next year if you are elected?

two initiatives I will work on if I am elected is organizing a school spirit event and organizing a day where students dress like teachers where kids imitate their teachers. I would also have students send thank you notes to teachers to notify them that they are appreciated.

Question #2: What does it mean to you to be a Colt?

Being a colt will mean to me that I value hard work and I embrace school spirit. Being a colt also means that I am part of a community that wants to make a difference.

Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?

I will develop activities makes everyone at cottonwood feel a warm welcome and is included. I will develop activities that bring everyone together as one school. One idea i have is a huge paper chain that everyone could participate in using our schools' colors to increase school spirit and collaboration. Another idea I have is a snowball fight but with paper, students write something they like doing and throw it up on the air at the same time and everybody picks out one and they could give it back to the person and tell them if they also enjoy doing it.

Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?

An advice that I have is being organized which will help you be neat and also setting SMART goals to help me stay motivated.

Question #5: What are some qualities that make a great leader?

I have good leadership, communication, and self-awareness skills. I'm also honest and also make sure everyone is involved and not left out.

Question #6: What is a leadership quality you have and how will it help you be a good Class Officer at Cottonwood?

I have courage which will help me as a future class officer take responsibility and build trust and respect with other class officers and students at cottonwood

Question #7: What specific qualifications do you have for your intended position?

I have a very good GPA of 3.975 and CPA of 3.9. I will also participate in activities and games whether I am required to go.

Task

 Create a sample tailgate or student section party for a school sponsored event. Explain how your initiative would encourage student attendance. Additionally, create a list of 10 dress themes that could be used for the student sections at various football and basketball games.
