Question and Answer

Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as a Class Officer next year if you are elected?

If I am elected as class officer two initiatives I will work on are first I would want to get as many students involved in activities. I think that would help students enjoy their high school years more and would help them be more involved with the school an there classmates. I would also want to find ways to spread kindness and positivity so we can be more connected. 

Question #2: What does it mean to you to be a Colt?

For me to be a Colt it means I get to be part of a diverse community and get to know amazing people that come from all ovr the world. To be a Colt is showing pride for my school and all the great students and teachers there. It is also imortant that Colts show pride for Cottonwood and all it is.

Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?

One way I would develop activities to get everyone at cottonwood feel welcome and included is thinking of activities that everyone can do and enjoy. It is important to me that everyone feels comfortable and open to joining the activities we do. 

Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?

Advice I would give to students to stay motived with attendace and acdemics is reminding them how it effects there future. How well you do in high school can really effect your future life. If you come to class everyday and participate you are much more likely to be able to have your dream future. 

Question #5: What are some qualities that make a great leader?

Some qualitys that i belive make a great leader include: motivation. I think it is always important that leaders push others to be there best self and support everyone with what they are going through. I also think leaders should put in there full effort. A leader is an example to others so I think it is important that they always try thier hardest. A quality that is always inportant in a leader is kindness. Leaders should never stress others out or make them scared. It is important that leaders always support and are kind to everyone. 

Question #6: What is a leadership quality you have and how will it help you be a good Class Officer at Cottonwood?

A leadership quality I have is to always make the most out of somthing and put is my whole effort. I think having this quality would help me be a good class officer because I make activities organized and fun. Having an officer who makes things enjoyable will attract students to be more involved. 

Question #7: What specific qualifications do you have for your intended position?

    Quialifications I have to be Historian include, I love to take pictures. I always love capturing a moment and having it as a memory. I have lots of experience taking photos for my peer leadership class and just for fun. I am also signed up for a photography class next year so I can learn even more about perfecting pictures.

These are 5 photos I have taken that highlight Bonneville and Viking Pride . I was in the yearbook class at Bonneville and got to take pictures for many different sports and activity's. I had so much fun going to watch my peers play there sports/activity's and capture there talents. I love going to the events and I think it would be so fun to continue doing that in high school. I love to take pictures and support my peers. That is why I think I would make a great freshman Historian.
