Over the past few years at Bonneville, I have found I love being a leader among my peers. I have enjoyed being a part of the service projects to help support those in our community, whether to help them gain resources like food or clothing, or necessities needed.
I was also in office aid being tasked to give new students tours of the school, and getting to know them, and have them feel of the Viking Spirit.
Being apart of many programs, I have been given the opportunity to get to know not only one group of peers, but many diverse interests such as MESA, Underwater Robotics, Drama and Musical, Band, Choir, Peer Leadership, Office Aid. I have also been awarded the "Best of Bonneville" title which is only awarded to 2 students every year in each grade.
With all of these experiences I have gained in the last couple of years, I feel like I will be able to represent Cottonwood and all of the positive aspects that encompass a Cottonwood Colt! I am dependable, motivated, kind, trustworthy, service oriented, and have awesome school spirit.
Question #1: What are two initiatives you will work on as a Class Officer next year if you are elected?
My initiatives include being involved in the student spirt at Cottonwood. I want to help other students become involved and to be a positive part of their school experience.
Question #2: What does it mean to you to be a Colt?
To be a Colt, means to be supportive, involved, service oriented, cooperative, flexible, and having my mind set to high academic achievement.
Question #3: What is one way you would develop activities to make everyone at Cottonwood feel welcome and included?
This year being in Peer Leadership and Office Aid has given me a first hand opprotunity to help those new to our community. Befriending and helping these new students I hope left a good first impression on what it is to be a good Bonneville Viking. Being consistent with helping others who needed a friend is a huge part of who I am. Being involved in creating activities to help others feel included would be a definite positive to what I can bring to the table.
Question #4: What advice do you have to stay motivated with attendance and academics throughout the year?
Being motivated with attendance and academics is something that will not only benefit me and others now, but in our futures. It can open doors in school here, but also in advanced education after highschool graduation. It may be hard now, but we can do it.
Question #5: What are some qualities that make a great leader?
Some qualities that makes me a great leader includes being optimistic, a team player, cooperative, organized, understanding, empathetic, trustworthy, and hardworking.
Question #6: What is a leadership quality you have and how will it help you be a good Class Officer at Cottonwood?
I'm a very motivated person, and being motivated makes me a hard worker. Being a hard worker will help me be a good Class Officer at Cottonwood because it will push me and help become a better student and peer.
Question #7: What specific qualifications do you have for your intended position?

At the end of the assembly and throughout, we would love all of you to perform some sort of skit, while the Pep band does their thing, and boosts the audience self esteem of them, and the groups chosen. We encourage all of you to also come to the Football Game tonight. Thank you for cooperating with us Class officers and SBOs to make this a wonderful experience for all of our Colts!

Additionally, create a simple outline of a Homecoming Assembly script. (Typically the Homecoming Assembly involves competition games between grades and includes a dance performance by the combined dance groups.)
