We are a Cowboy Action Shooting Club, under the direction of the Single Action Shooting Society, that meets the 3rd Sunday and the 5th Saturday of each month. For those interested, we also meet the 1st Saturday of each month for Wild Bunch Action Shooting.
Dressed in 1860 to early 1900 style clothing, participates use 2 Pistols - Single-Action, 1 Rifle - Lever-Action (or slide action rifles manufactured during the period from approximately 1860 until 1899, incorporating a tubular magazine and exposed hammer) and a Shotgun - either a Model 1897 Winchester Pump, any side-by-side or single shot shotgun typical of the period from approximately 1860 until 1899 (with or without external hammers, having single or double triggers is allowed, or Lever action, tubular feed, exposed hammer shotguns of the period are allowed).
Steel targets are set up close and the fun begins when the buzzer starts.
Shooters compete in different categories, with special attention to the Children, Young Teens, and the Ladies.
