About Me
This is my 15th year of teaching! All of those years have been in 1st grade! I absolutely LOVE seeing the light in students' eyes as they grasp a new concept, gain confidence in a practiced skill, enjoy time with friends, and develop a true love for reading and learning!!! Your children continue to teach me daily!

When I am not at school, I enjoy being outdoors and walking, spending time with family & friends, playing games, growing & serving alongside my church family! In Sept. 2021, I celebrated being a 15-year cancer survivor and am SO grateful for the opportunities God has given me through the years!

Engaged!
My daughter, Melaine, and her high school sweetheart, Drew, were engaged Dec. 29th! We look forward to (officially) adding Drew to our family in July 2020! Melaine graduated from Texas A&M in May (Whoop!) and is teaching kindergarten in College Station.
Newest Addition!
My son, Connor, and his wife, Brittany both graduated from Texas A&M (Whoop!). Connor completed law school at UT Austin in May. He went to work for a firm in NY in September. They added Annie girl to their family March 3rd. Big brother, Cooper, adores her!
