My name is Laurie Whitley, and I am thrilled to be teaching 7th grade Science at Granbury Middle School. This will be my tenth year teaching at GMS. I graduated from Granbury High School in 1990 and then graduated from Texas A&M University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and a minor in Marketing. I hold teaching certifications in EC-6, 4-8, and ESL.

I am married, and we have 4 children. Two of our kids are still school age and attend Granbury High School - Freshman and Senior. I enjoy running, biking, and swimming.

I am really excited about the 2022/2023 school year at Granbury Middle School. I look forward to the positive connections made with the students, as well as watching them grow over the year.
