My name is Jari Dennis and I am over the moon to be teaching 3rd grade at Oak Woods! The 2022 - 2023 school year will be my 13th year of teaching, and the majority of that has been in 3rd grade. I have a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a double major in Elementary Education and Psychology from Pittsburg State University in Kansas. Go Gorillas! I hold Texas certifications to teach grades 1-8, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Gifted and Talented (GT).

My husband, Duane, and I have been married for 29 wonderful years. We have two beautiful children, Sydney (18) and Blake (16). Sydney will be attending Texas A&M this fall. Blake loves to golf and be on the lake. We also have two spoiled rotten dogs named Cookie and Marley. We love scuba diving, boating, riding wave runners, wake surfing, traveling, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends.
