Welcome to 3rd Grade!

My name is Rebecca O'Dell and I am very excited to join the 3rd Grade team here at Oak Woods! The 2023-2024 school year will be my 12th year of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Tarleton State University, and a Masters of Education in Reading from the University of Texas at Tyler. I have previous experience teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade!

My husband, Remington, and I have been married for 16 years and have two wonderful boys, Daniel (9) and William (6). Daniel is joining us here in 4th grade this year and William is starting 1st grade here at Oak Woods. As a family we love to travel, eat at restaurants, and spend time with our families.

I can't wait to help your child learn more in 3rd grade this year!
