Hajj Simulation - Wed 5/20
Now that Dhul Hijjah once again falls within the school year, we are excited to bring back our Annual Hajj Simulation on Wednesday, May 20th. Our administration and teachers have been working very hard to ensure that our students have a meaningful and informative experience, bringing to life the beauty and spirituality of this sacred journey.
In order to make this event a success, we kindly ask for your support with the following:
Clothing: All students are asked to come dressed in a thobe, abaya, or traditional dress appropriate for the occasion. For boys, please send a white towel along with a safety pin on Tuesday, May 19th. The towel will be worn over their clothing to simulate the ihram attire.
Hair Cutting Participation: At the conclusion of the Hajj Simulation, students will be given the option to participate in the cutting of a few strands of hair to commemorate the completion of their Umrah. All sanitary precautions will be strictly enforced during this process. If you would prefer that your child not participate in the hair-cutting portion, please email me by Monday, May 18th.
We look forward to providing our students with this memorable and spiritually enriching experience, insha’Allah.
I am so proud of my first-grade students this year!
They did an amazing job in the Quran curriculum and truly shined in the Quran Competition.
The best news? EVERYONE is a winner! Alhamdulillah.
Our students worked hard to learn new surahs and understand their meanings, and their effort really showed.
Very well done, First Grade! I am so proud of each and every one of you. Keep up the great work!
